Hi, I’m Javier Maldonado, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new General Manager of The Auto Den Dallas.
For me, cars have never just been transportation. They have always been tied to memories, family, hard work, and the kind of passion that sticks with you for life.

I grew up in Garland, Texas, just outside of Dallas, and some of my earliest car memories go back to riding with my dad and my two brothers in his 1994 Eddie Bauer Edition Bronco. Whether we were heading to soccer games or spending time in the driveway cleaning and working on vehicles, those moments helped spark something in me early.
Like a lot of car enthusiasts from my generation, that spark turned into a full obsession thanks to the Fast & Furious movies and way too many hours playing Need for Speed. Then the 2013 Mustang and GT500 came out, and that pretty much sealed the deal. I became hooked on Ford performance vehicles.
Shortly after high school, I bought my first real project car, a wrecked 1999 Mustang. My dad and I rebuilt it and repainted it together, and that experience taught me a lot about patience, pride, and what it really means to bring a vehicle back to life. Since then, I’ve owned several enthusiast cars, including multiple Mustangs, a Datsun 280ZX, a Ford Maverick, a Porsche Cayman, and my current project, a 1989 Notchback Mustang.
Over the last decade, I’ve been fortunate to build a career around the automotive world. I’ve worked in tire service, collision repair, dealerships, vehicle reconditioning, inventory management, and operations. Along the way, I found a real passion for detailing and preservation.
That started the same way a lot of things do for car people. I wanted my own vehicle cared for the right way, so I decided to learn how to do it myself. I studied the craft, followed industry leaders like Larry Kosilla of AMMO NYC, and started applying what I learned on my own vehicles. Before long, I was detailing for family, friends, body shops, dealerships, and eventually clients with luxury, sports, and exotic vehicles.
That path gave me hands-on experience in paint correction, ceramic coatings, vehicle preservation, and large-scale automotive operations. More importantly, it taught me that every vehicle has a story. Whether it’s a daily driver, a weekend toy, a rare collector car, or a dream car someone worked years to own, there is always a personal connection behind it.
That is what makes The Auto Den Dallas such a special place.
This is not just a storage facility. It is a home for vehicles that matter. Our clients trust us with cars that represent memories, milestones, investments, and lifelong passions. I take that seriously.
As General Manager, my goal is simple: deliver the kind of experience I would want for my own vehicles. That means attention to detail, clear communication, a clean and secure environment, and a team that truly understands why these cars matter to their owners.
I’m proud to be part of The Auto Den Dallas, and I’m excited to meet more of our members, welcome new clients, and continue building a facility that serves the Dallas automotive community the right way.
If you’re a fellow enthusiast, collector, weekend driver, or just someone who believes cars deserve to be protected and enjoyed, I look forward to meeting you.
See you at The Auto Den!
